Does LastDonor take a cut of my donation?
No. We take 0%. Stripe handles the card payment and charges 2.9% plus 30 cents. On a $50 donation that is $1.75, so the campaign receives $48.25. None of that fee comes to us.
If you take 0%, how do you pay your bills?
People donate to LastDonor itself, separately from campaigns. We also look for grants and sponsors. That money pays for checking campaigns, helping donors, and running the website.
Who checks a campaign before it goes live?
A person on our team reads every campaign first. We often ask for proof, such as a bill, an official letter, or a photo. Nothing goes live until that check is done.
Where does my money go?
All of it goes to the campaign you picked, minus the Stripe payment fee. We take nothing. The campaign then posts updates so you can see what your money paid for.
What kinds of campaigns can I support?
